Recipes :: Pasta

Pasta is traditionally quite boring, and many people add some tomato-based sauce to the mix after the fact. Since store-bought noodles are fairly tasteless, I enjoy adding some flavours to the water that they boil in, which are then absorbed.

Ingredients:
  • Pasta of your choice
  • Pinch of Salt
  • Soy Sauce (optional)
  • Vegetable stock (to taste)
  • Cayenne pepper & chilli flakes (if you want it a little spicy)

Bring the water to boil along with a pinch of salt. Add the pasta, the soy sauce, vegetable stock, pepper and chilli. Wait until they’re al-dente, or cooked through if you prefer. Drain the water and serve with a little bit of olive oil (or butter/marg) and some black pepper.
